Steel Drums
The steel drums that we supply range from 5L to 210L, tight head and open top, standard drums and polycomposite drums. Which can be either internally plain or lacquered and externally painted in your choice of colours. We stock a standard colour for same day delivery.All Steel drums are UN approved for liquids and solids.
Open Top Specification:
In compliance with ISO 15750-1 made of commercial grade steel sheet according to ISO 3574, fulfilment of EU guideline 94/62, body seam welded, bottom end with sealing compound specially folded (safety fold), lid with foam rubber gasket, galvanised locking lever ring.
Tested for packaging froups I, II and III.
With UN approval, open top drums for liquids are double marked and therefore also accredited for solid matters.
Variations:
Hoops - rolling hoops, W-hoops, container hoops, optionally additional corrugations or straight sided
Closures - manufactured according to ISO 15750-3, lid with G2 + G3/4, closure design; phosphatised, galvanised, galvanised and coated.
Surfaces - outside; single or multi-coloured stove-enamelled. Inside; raw, free of oil/grease, temporary corrosion protection, stove-enamelled, FDA approved (suitable for food). PE inner liner optional.

In compliance with ISO 15750-2 made of commercial grade steel sheet according to ISO 3574, fulfilment of EU guideline 94/62, body seam welded, bottom end with sealing compound specially folded (safety fold), inner plastic container of high-molecular polyethylene (HDPE) weighing 3, 4 1/2 and 6kg, galvanised top and bottom ends
